Since the United States only legalized gay marriage in , it’s light to assume that the entire country falls on the conservative side of the social scale. However, that could not be further from the reality. Like other countries we’ve had the pleasure of visiting during our years of worldwide expeditions, America is one of those places where you can fully express yourself almost everywhere you go.
A sizable chunk of the citizens of this vast, all-encompassing melting pot approve of LGBTQ relationships (although, sadly, a large number don't!), which means that same-sex attracted America can be establish in every city, whether big or small.

About Seattles LGBTQ+ Center
Seattles Gay Center celebrates more than 25 years of building resilience and joy in our LGBTQ communities.
In , a group of society activists launched what is today Seattles LGBTQ+ Center with a bold vision of building a group stronger than HIV. This mission evolved in the s when the nonprofit introduced its Wellness Center, Arts Programs, and established a physical space where all LGBTQ people could be themselves.
Today, the Center remains the leading HIV/STI tester in King County, home to several LGBTQ-affirming services, and provides access to several diverse resources. The organization is also an active force in queer youth engagement and provides LGBTQ-centered trainings that address the needs of the most marginalized people within our community.
As we look to the future, we see an LGBTQ center on Capitol Hill with expanded services, an affirming space, and so much more for our communities to enjoy.

As a result of the US Census, the City of Wilton Manors was named the “Second Gayest City” in the Combined States. With a large percentage of the population identifying as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or gender diverse, Wilton Manors has been a progressive place to live, perform and play for many years.
