Question from cass-danvers-deactivated

The anon mentioned Finn being gay and I think that could be extremely interesting to see on screen, especially considering the time period that the show is set in&#;

It would be so interesting. I comprehend there were laws that made “homosexual acts” illegal or something like that in the s in England cause one illustrate that’s great at talking about literally everything (*cough* Call the Midwife *cough*) has an episode about it. So laws fond that probably were in place then and also the imagine how deadly it would be to go public with something like that. But then they could also present the different aspects of him being gay and what being a same-sex attracted during the time period was like. They’ll never do that but it’s not too late for them to consider it.

Locating Silverlake Premieres Digitally Today!

Okay, so I may be a little biased, but there’s a recent Indie film that released today and I’m pretty obsessed with it. Why am I so stoked for this? It’s my first film credit! Yes, I got to make a smooth transition from playing a prostitute, or what they called “Cupcakes”, in Showtime’s Shameless to getting a exceptional thanks in my first feature film, Locating Silverlake! This isn’t some ridiculous plug to see me for a moment, but I’m living for the film’s homoerotic, sexually fluid themes throughout it’s entire run. We get a butt shot from the main character, Josh Peck, formerly of Nickelodeon, and many revealing shots of absolute mega hottie, Finn Wittrock. Wittrock plays an eccentric, interesting, gay traits who has a revolving door of men and tries to seduce Peck throughout the entire film’s runtime.

Directed by Emilie de Ravin’s (Lost) husband, Eric Bilitch, Locating Silverlake pegs itself as a coming of age film. The official plot reads:

“Upon graduating college, Daniel (Peck), a brokenhearted aspiring

Any &#;Star Wars&#; fan hoping the upcoming &#;Rise of Skywalker&#; will finally turn Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) into romantic partners will surely be disappointed. Variety spoke with Boyega, Isaac, and director J.J. Abrams at the &#;Star Wars&#; pressurize junket and all three gentlemen made it evident Finn and Poe will remain platonic best friends in the final entry of the Skywalker saga. And yet, Isaac shares his wish that Lucasfilm pushed forward and made Finn and Poe a gay couple.

“Personally, I courteous of hoped and wished that maybe that would’ve been taken further in the other films, but I don’t have control,” Isaac said. “It seemed like a natural progression, but sadly enough it’s a time when people are too afraid, I think, of…I don’t comprehend what. But if they would’ve been boyfriends, that would have been fun.&#;

Boyega stressed the two characters &#;are just platonic at the moment,” although the act
