Jasper, Alberta is a little mountain town that is the perfect vacation identify. Jasper Pride Festival takes place each year in April. The Snow Identity festival Festival includes a colourful rainbow flag skiing parade at Marmot Basin with around km ski and snowboard runs.

The Event

  • Jasper Pride is an annual celebration of diversity in the picturesque town of Jasper, fix against the stunning backdrop of the Canadian Rockies.

Getting to Jasper

  • Jasper is at the crossroads of Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver, all of which have international airports that are serviced by major national and international carriers.
  • The Edmonton International Airport is the closest airport to Jasper. It&#;s located km&#;s east of Jasper, approximately hours driving time. There are shuttles ready from the airport to Jasper.
  • For a chance to slouch back, relax and see scenery that you can’t notice from any thoroughfare, take the train! There are two rail services that can bring you to Jasper. VIA Rail C

They’re talking ten days of titanic Pride events, action-packed activities, and unlimited skiing, all in the spirit of coming together, proud and free. There’s an fire at Jasper Pride that you won’t feel anywhere else. Being surrounded by natural beauty in a town that openly and proudly supports the 2SLGBTQ+ community year-round, you can’t help but feel favor you’re a part of something special. Jasper is a traditionally diverse and welcoming community attracting travelers, workers, students, ski bums, and residents from all over the world. This unique atmosphere is a perfect fit for the resident queer community, the 2SLGBTQ+ traveler, and the many 2SLGBTQ+ couples who wed in Jasper every year. It's also the perfect location for the annual Jasper Pride & Ski Festival!

    OUT Jasper LGBTQA Society is pushing the movement of LGBTQA equality and human rights through the mountains and into the Yellowhead region.

    OUT Jasper is a peer and advocacy team for the GSA, Sapphic, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Queer, Questioning Two-Spirit people living, working, and passing through Jasper Alberta.  We also extend our contact as requested into the Yellowhead region.

     

    The town of Jasper Alberta is located inside Jasper National Park in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
