I didn&#;t realize until the film came out just how many queer women in my social circle and workplace had interpret and adored Red, Pale and Royal Blue. But perhaps I shouldn&#;t have been so surprised, considering women have historically been the primary readers of M/M romantic fiction, even if the general assumption around that fact is that it&#;s straight women. But I suspect I&#;m not the only lesbian out there who enjoys a light, unchallenging little romp into gay romance. The world of gay romance novels is, if not quite as vast as the world of m/f romance, still quite expansive. Are you looking for a royal-commoner romance? A fake marriage? Something dark and gritty, or something that&#;s the literary equal of a basket of puppies?
