Update of NYC bridal architect defending her faith and denying bridal jumpsuit blueprint for a same sex couple

By: Charrise Lane

What would you do if you were sued for discrimination for practicing your faith? In , bridal planner Dominique Galbraith faced just that when she declined an order for a bridal jumpsuit from a same-sex couple. Citing her religious beliefs, Galbraith refused to provide services, ultimately leading to a lawsuit for discrimination

In expressing her stance, Galbraith made it clear that her Christian faith heavily influences her business decisions.

“I can’t build a garment for a same sex wedding, it goes against my faith,” Galbraith said. &#;As a Christian whose faith plays a role in all of my decisions including business, I could not in good conscience create the jumpsuit for a same sex wedding.”

Galbraith also shared her faith with the couple, urging them to reconsider and inviting them to discuss the matter further if they were open to it. However, instead of receiving a verbal reply, she was met with legal action. The case was

A lesbian couple from Missouri has been denied service by a New York-based wedding dress architect as same-sex marriage is against her religion, it has been claimed.

Tiffany Allen and Angel Road, of St Louis, said they reached out to D. Auxilly to enquire about a $1, jumpsuit, which they hoped Path would wear for their upcoming wedding in October.

The couple described their shock after a follow-up email from owner Dominique Galbraith revealed she would not be able to make the garnet for religious reasons, while encouraging them both to reconsider their relationship.

"I wouldn't be able to make a piece for a same-sex wedding. It goes against my faith in Christ," Galbraith wrote.

"I believe Jesus died for our sins so that we would live for him according to His Holy Word. I know you both love each other and that this feels right but I encourage you both to reconsider and watch what the Lord has to say and the wonderful things He has in store for you both if you confidence and obey Him."

"I'm available to talk and share more about Jesus if you'd like. Sense free to call me," she added.
