Is sunshine from remember the titans gay
Lets discuss the movie "Remember The Titans" ()
I love this movie! I was a kid when it came out and used to watch it over and over, and still watch it whenever it comes on to this day. Such a wonderful movie and story, and one of Denzels best, IMHO. You even see Ryan Gosling pre-nose job.
There is one issue I have with this movie, and it is the character "Sunshine". He is originally from California, and is gay, and doesn't hide that he is queer to his team, but none of them take issue with it? This was set in the 60s! He even kisses one of the athletes on the mouth and the team kind of acts like its no big deal outside of the one that got kissed and everyone just accepts that he is gay.
While this is how it should be, its not realistic or believable that they would be so ok with Sunshine. He would own gotten his ass beaten numerous times! It is Virginia s! (the scene below)
Outside of that unrealistic character, the film is very charming, sweet, and pulls at your heartstrings.

Ray Budds (Burgess Jenkins) is also a fictionalized personality. The film depicts a bigoted Ray being kicked off the team by captain Gerry Bertier. This never actually happened. Former Titan players have stated that this type of player would have been kicked off the team during training camp, before the

Yeahaccording to those who were there at spring camp, Sunshine never kissed anyone. This movie took so many liberties with the actual events that you would think they didn't bother to read about what happened other than the fact that they won the state championship that year.
Yeah, really if you consider about, given how many classifications there are, there were probably like schools in the south that won declare championships the first year they enable blacks play with them.
TC Williams ain't nothing special.

Coach Herman Boone

Both schools had a proud football team and now they are forced to come together and play as one team. Boone disliked being hired over Yoast (having experienced some of the similar racial politics in the past), but pleads wi
