Hello! Back in a tiny group of us discovered that nothing socially was happening in Weymouth for our LGBT+ Community (18+). So we made it happen!
Still meeting up today, but now twice a week in town pubs & restaurants.
We just enjoy to chat, have a drink and meet modern guys ….. We initiate that many of you liked the same too!
Every Thursday - The Swan (Wetherspoons St Thomas Avenue Weymouth) 8pm on or around table 26 by fire exit.
Mondays - “Meals Out On Mondays” – various different venues around Weymouth’s historic harbourside and beautiful beach.
Plus - Summer Beach BBQs and trips to Pride events.

Census data shows which Dorset areas own the most Queer people
Newly published figures show which areas of Dorset own the highest proportion of LGBTQ+ people. Just shy of two years after it was taken, the results of the Census are being drip-fed to the press (and public).
According to the Census, as of March there were 10, openly gay or queer woman people across all of Dorset, and an additional 10, people who identified as bisexual or another sexual orientation. LGB+ people, as a result, made up % of the Dorset Council area and % of the BCP Council area, with , people across the whole county identifying as direct.
Meanwhile, trans people - who own a gender self different to that which they were assigned at birth - made up % of the Dorset Council area, and % of the BCP Council area, with roughly % of people declining to respond to the questions.

Organisation of walks
The Dorset group organises events throughout the year, usually on the 2nd Sunday of the month and the 5th Sunday starting at hrs
The usual walk length is 6 to 9 miles with a picnic enroute getting back to our starting point in time for a meal/refreshments at a local pub; plus we are sometimes invited back to the leader's house for tea.
We also often hold midweek walks on the 4th Friday of the month (which are shorter and encompass a pub lunch) starting a little later.
In addition there are social events and in the summer some short easy strolls on a Tuesday

Our group consists mainly of men in the 40 to 70 range. We do own women on our walks and they are always most welcome.
